What does it mean to take up his cross?
It means to lay our "ego strength" aside. Taking up our cross means, instead, picking up those weaknesses that we so often try to run away from in life. Taking up our cross means carrying around those places where we are vulnerable, places where we are maybe even exposed to embarrassment and shame.

- Praying to Heavenly Father for the Spirit to be with us.
- Reading the Lord's words in the scriptures and as revealed by living prophets.
- Attending the temple.
- Studying the Savior's life at church and in seminary.
- Applying His Atonement by repenting of our sins.
- Sharing our testimonies of Him.
Who is Jesus for you reflection?
To Christians He is God and Saviour. He is the one who came in human flesh, who lived a sinless life but died a sinner's death, all so that you and I could escape punishment and live at peace in God's family.
